Hope Academy Students Visit Bradford

On December 6th 10 students accompanied our chaplain, Dr Michelle Goodwin, to Bradford to be trained by the Diana Award Team as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. Attached is a picture of our new Ambassador team – each of them is now wearing a badge that is a blue ‘A’.

As a faith academy we see it as enormously important that all students in our community feel secure and valued. These student leaders from Year 7-10 will now take a lead in promoting kindness, celebrating diversity and supporting their peers. We look forward to sharing their ideas with you over the coming weeks and months.

Please do ask these students about the training if you spot them or their blue ‘A’ badge. They will be happy to talk about how we can sustain and celebrate the Hope Academy core values of Respect, Courage and ambition.
