Christmas Afternoon Tea

On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 14th the Chaplaincy hosted a special Christmas afternoon tea for some of the senior members of our parish. We were also joined by some of the residents from Stocks Hall Care Home in St Helens. Our special guests were invited to the Chapel for a festive afternoon tea where they were treated to some carols by our Chamber Choir and their knowledge of Christmas was put to the test with our festive quiz.

Christmas is a time for engaging with others, especially those in the community who might feel lonely or overlooked during the festive period. The core values of Respect, Courage and Ambition are not just words, but standards for young people to aspire to incorporate into their lives. Interacting with members of the community, especially those of a different generation, is both rewarding and educative.

We thank our students for their work in making our guests feel welcome, and contributing so much to their enjoyment of the afternoon.
