At Hope Academy we understand that school is not the only place young people learn.
Young people study and learn in many different ways today – we live in a knowledge-based society where information is easily accessible. We believe the work and learning that young people experience outside school makes a significant contribution to developing the skills all school-leavers need in a rapidly changing world.
At Hope Academy we are committed to providing high quality homework, which includes planned assignments in the form of a series of independent learning projects provided across the school year. Alongside knowledge and understanding, we look to develop a range of values and social skills in our pupils, and provide a real opportunity for parents to engage and support their children in their learning. We will provide 24-hour access through our virtual learning environment to a wide range of resources and support. |
