What's On In The Chapel
Pupils and staff are welcome in the chapel throughout the school day. At break time and lunch time pupils can spend time in the chapel reflecting, praying, sharing conversation, taking part in Faith in Action, co-ordinating charity work, or playing board games. Our chaplain Kasia is always available for anyone who needs spiritual or pastoral guidance.
There is a designated prayer wall and prayer box for people to add their prayers to, so that others can pray for their intentions.
On Wednesday mornings, pupils and staff are welcome in the chapel to take part in our Morning Worship. We have Catholic Mass on the first Wednesday of the month and Anglican Holy Communion on the third Wednesday of the month.
WORSHIP WEDNESDAYS
Every Wednesday morning from 8.10am. Come to the chapel for worship and prayer.

FAITH IN ACTION
The Faith in Action Award encourages young people through recognising, rewarding and celebrating their active faith lived out through service and reflection. The Award helps them connect their life and faith in a tangible manner. In journeying through the Faith in Action Award, young people should experience a deepening of their relationship with God and find themselves exploring that relationship. It is hoped that through their relationship and action, others will see God's love through them.
There are four levels of award: Pin, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Participants accrue credits of service in their parish and / or school and the wider community. The Faith in Action Award builds on what young people already experience in serving others, asking them to reflect upon it so that they may find new ways of living out and exploring their faith. There is an opportunity for both guided reflections, through group reflection points and personal reflection, through journaling. At the end of the scheme, participants submit a final piece of work for moderation before being awarded their Faith in Action Award.
Who is the Award for?
The Faith in Action Award is for young people aged 10-18 (Year 6 to Year 13). Young people undertake the award with Kasia in the chapel during lunchtime on Mondays/Wednesday and through volunteering to help at events to earn the credits of service. At the end of each year, their is an award ceremony with Archboshop Malcolm to celebrate all the young people in the area who have achieved their Faith in Action Award.

CHAPEL CHAT
Chapel Chat takes place in the chapel every Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime, where we discuss the Big Questions of Faith and Life! Pupils are encouraged to write down their questions during the week so that we have time to think and talk about them together. Other times we just have a good conversation! Kirsty and Ouend from The Mount join us to offer their thoughts and discuss all the topics that we come up with! Find out more about The Mount by clicking here

If you are in Year 10 or above and are thinking about going please speak to Kasia, who will be a staff member on Coach 9.
The pilgrimage takes place from 18th-27th July. Fundraising opportunities are available.

FLAME 2025
Flame is returning to Wembley Arena on Saturday 15th March 2025!
Following the great success of Flame 2023, where there was a crowd of 8000 young people in Wembley Arena together for a day full of energy, prayer, joy and hope, we are excited to be preparing for 2025!
Full of inspiring speakers from all around the world, representatives from a number of organisations, award winning musicians and so much more, we cannot wait to be a part of this fantastic event once again!
It is a vibrant experience of young Church, concluding with Adoration led by most of the Bishops of England and Wales; the whole day really opens the young people’s horizons about what the Church is, and their part in it.
