BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport

The aim of this course is to create the Sports Leaders of the future.  This course will allow the students to focus solely on Sport and will cover the equivalent of 3 A level subjects with students achieving pass, merit or distinction grades.

This course can take you straight into employment, apprenticeships or university.  Students successfully completing this qualification can choose a variety of careers to go into including Sports coaching, Sports Therapy, PE Teacher, Sports Development Officer, Fitness Instructor and many more.

The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport course covers a wide range of topics which will be assessed through exams, synoptic assessment or coursework assignments. Some of the units covered are; Anatomy and Physiology, Fitness Training and Programming, Professional Development in the Sports Industry, Practical Sports Performance, Coaching for Performance and Research Methods in Sport.
