Curriculum

Back to Key Information

The curriculum for Hope Academy is designed to encourage a thirst for knowledge and understanding and a love of learning. It covers a range of subjects and provides opportunities for academic, technical and sporting excellence.

The curriculum at Hope enables students to experience a wide range of subjects in Key Stage Three. Students develop a broad knowledge and skills base upon which they can build once they select their options for GCSE and begin to develop expertise across a number of different courses in year 10.

Hope has a curriculum offer which extends beyond the Academy day and offers a wide range of expressive arts, sporting and literacy based opportunities provided by staff and external coaches.

Hope has developed a bespoke curriculum which supports and challenges learners of all abilities. To find out more information about the curriculum we are following please contact Mrs M Adams (marie.adams@sthelens.org.uk) on 01744 671930.

An overview of the units covered in each subject for each year group can be found in the subjects section.
