CHAPLAINCY
The Chaplaincy at Hope Academy is the heart of the school. It is from here that we strive to live out our mission of working together to inspire excellence guided by Christian values. The spirit of chaplaincy is embedded throughout the school as pupils are encouraged to help others through volunteer work, charity work, and in their actions around school and the wider world.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
There are a number of Christian Services throughout the school year, starting with a Joint Denominational Welcome Service for the Year 7s in October which welcomes them into the school community and anticipates the talents and skills we will nurture: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).
There are services at both Christmas and Easter at our local churches and a host of events that pupils can be involved in as can be seen from our Chaplaincy Calendar:

CHARITY WORK
Here at Hope Academy we work closely with a number of charities. We make sure we work with a variety of local, national and international charities, such as St. Helens Food Bank, Warrington and Halton Hospital, Nugent, Christian Aid, Macmillan Cancer Support, Pearl of Africa, Laughter Africa to name a few. We have a dedicated team of fundraisers in each year group who go above and beyond to help others.
